The Hakushu Distillery is a rarity among the world’s distilleries, located in a richly forested setting approximately 700 meters above sea level in the foothills of the Southern Japan Alps. This is why it has gained the nickname of the "Mountain Forest Distillery." The single malt whisky produced here is characterized by light, crisp flavors and aromas resulting from the combination of nature and highly skilled craftsmanship. Aging our Hakushu malt whiskies for at least 18 years has produced a rich, deep nose and a subtle smokiness. A wonderful harmony of complex body and sweetness balanced with rich cask aroma. Enjoy the deep, resonant finish, with its hints of smoke.

This whisky is made from the finest selection of our precious malts, each aged for at least 25 years, blending creamy, woody malts with peaty, smoky flavors and richly fruity malts aged in sherry casks, painstakingly selected, blended, and patiently finished to create this fine single malt whisky.
